Vernis leather: Some signs of use (gentle scratches). The bottom has some faint gray marks. The vernis leather is mostly spotless but a bit sticky overall. Cleaning it with a silicone based patent leather cleaner may help a bit.

Shape: Keeps its shape well.

Edges: Light signs of use (gentle scuffs).

Hardware: Signs of use. The gold-tone is a deeper shade with some gold coating wearing off a bit.

Smell: Free of smell.

Extra comments: Vernis Leather is a bit sticky.
