The Monogram Vernis model was introduced to the Louis Vuitton line in 1998 by designer Marc Jacobs. The idea was to further enhance the monogram pattern with the addition of a sparkly and shiny twist. The material is coated leather which feels like patent material but with a lot more flavor. It does bring refreshing colors across the whole range and gained huge popularity for its distinct look. One of the most popular and sought after limited edition from the series is the Flower Motif followed by the Christmas Collection introduced in 2002.
Louis Vuitton
Louis Vuitton carries the name of its founder – the French entrepreneur and designer who established the company in 1854 in Paris, France. Not many people know, but Vuitton's entrance to the world of royalty was in no small part due to Napoleon’s wife hiring Louis Vuitton as her personal packer and box maker.
Louis Vuitton's first breakthrough was the creation of a trunk design that was lighter, yet more durable and most importantly square-shaped, which made it stackable and as such, more suitable for transportation. Since then, with its 100 years of innovation and experience, the brand is far ahead of its competition in any regard and with timeless designs from a long list of famous designers as Marc Jacobs, Takahashi Murakami and most recently, Yayoi Kusama, Louis Vuitton is capturing the hearts of more fashion lovers with each passing day.
